This video was inspired by an article I read recently.
People who were nearing the end of life were asked what their biggest regrets were. Here are their top 5 answers:
1. They wish they had been more loving to the people who matter the most.
2. They wish they had been a better spouse, parent, or child.
3. They wish they had not spent so much time working.
4. They wish they had taken more risks.
5. They wish they had been happier and enjoyed life more.
The top two answers relate to how well we treat others, the bottom three answers relate to how well we treat ourselves. Motorcycling for me is such a unique picture of freedom. One rider, one machine, and the knowledge & skills to control it.
For years my motorcycle was my transport home from a job that was tough to go to every day. It allowed me to take enough controlled risk that I felt alive. There is no doubt that it has contributed to my happiness and enjoyment of life.
I am proud to ride a motorcycle and I am happy that we get to share weekly talks on how to ride them better.
God speed, ride safe!
