Learning this Motorcycle Math Formula could save your life
Distance + Time + Thinking + Options = Life Saving
Distance – Give yourself distance between yourself and the other vehicles around you.
Time – When you have distance you have time. Time on a motorcycle is valuable, riding at 70 MPH you are traveling at 102 feet per second.
Thinking – Ask yourself, “What if?” questions. What if that car pulls in front of me? What if the car at the intersection did not see me when the driver glanced my way.
Options – Follow the What if questions up with options. I can emergency brake, I can swerve, I can change lanes and reduce my risk.
Life-Saving – Add all of the techniques together and use them in real-time on your next and every ride. At some point in time the math equation will save you from a near miss or a crash on the road.
